Prayers for Caden

Please pray for this little guy he’s only 5 months old! Blake was in the hospital at 5 months as well so I can relate. It was hard seeing Blake in the hospital but at least the doctors knew what to do to make him well. (Praise the Lord!!!) But with this little baby they are not sure what’s wrong with him.



I write you all to beg for your prayers for our precious Caden. Many of you already know but we are have been in the hospital with him since early Sunday. We got to Lubbock Covenant Hopsital ER Saturday night about midnight. They are not sure what is wrong with him. They have run every test they can think to run at this point and really have no direction to proceed. He is stable and for that we are very thankful. On fluids to keep him hydrated but hasn't nursed since Saturday at 4 pm. They have him on strong antibiotics but still we have seen no improvement. He slept alot yesterday but today he just moans. He hasn't cried since this whole thing started. They've drawn blood repeatedly and ran all sorts of tests and never a whimper-just a moan. He's not himself by any stretch of the imagination which is what prompted us to come to the ER Saturday. He became very lathargic (sp?) and dehydrated and just out of it. We are in the process of moving him to Dallas. They have approved the transfer at Children's Medical in Dallas but we have been waiting for transport there since the middle of the night. We are supposed to leave at 4 and pray that it happens. We are praying earnestly that we can all get there safely to get further help to figure out what is wrong with him. (We are on the waiting list at Cooks in Fort Worth as well just in case.) Please continue to pray for him and that Brandon and I will have wisdom as we proceed to make decisions on his behalf. We pray this is something that will turn around and that we might find some answers as to what is the root of the problem. He turned 5 months old last weekend and has been such a joyful healthy kid up until this point. Brazier is with Brandon's parents in Artesia and my parents are with us here. We miss Brazier and need him here to cheer us up but know he is in great hands and away from the stress of this situation. Thanks for all the prayers, calls etc. I'm going to try and e-mail as often as I can to keep you all posted. I didn't have everyone's address that I thought I did so please share the news with anyone I might have missed.
