Memorial Day Weekend

James and I loaded up and we all headed to Lewisville to see his parents (aka Noni and Grampy). We had a wonderful time. It was nice to relax and let Blake swim for the first time! He was so cute! At first James was a little nervous as to how he was going to react to the pool but I knew he would be a water bug in no time! This is a baby that I have to hold him up in the bathtub or he will dunk his head in the bathwater. The pool was to cold for him so we turned down the hot tub and let him float. It was so cute he was splashing and laughing. It did not bother him one bit to get water in his face. James would set him on the side of the hot tub and he would dive right back in. I have a feeling that we are not going to be able to keep him out of the water!

O and besides swimming we did make a trip to Sam Moon, Toysrus, Dillards, DSW Shoes’ and Victoria Secrets (for a wonderful self tanner). Sunday morning we woke up and starting getting everything packed to go. We left around 12:00 but did not make it out of town until 12:30 because James had to drive 30mins out of the way to “Stake-n-Shake” (I must say it turned out to be worth the drive). We made it back around 2:30pm and James dropped Blake and I off at my parents to get in the car one more time to drive to PK. James had to work on Monday so he wasn’t able to go. My cousins from Amarillo have just bought a lake house so they invited us to come and stay with them. It was to cold for Blake to ride in the boat Sunday evening so my mom kept him at the cabin so Chase and I could go. On Monday the weather was so nice and Blake got to go on his first boat ride! It was so funny because he hated his lifejacket and wanted to take it off but as soon as we took off in the boat he was fine. He fell asleep not 2 mins after we took off!
