The Daddy's!

I just had to post these pictures. For those of you that know my husband James and our dear friend Trey Calhoun you will understand why I love this picture so much!

James, Trey, Joy (Trey’s Wife) and I have been friends for a while now. I’ll break down the relationship a little. I have known James and also Joy since 1st grade at Jefferson Elem. Then when I moved from Jefferson Elem to Holliday in the 6th grade I became friends with Trey. 3 years later James joined our group of friends at Holliday and that’s when he became best friends with Trey. So you can say that we have grown up together and that’s what makes me smile when I see this picture. Just knowing what these two were like and what they have now become make me so proud. After being around Joy and Trey I know that they are and will be great parents. I must brag on Trey and what I noticed! We were all setting in the kitchen and Trey walked back to the bedroom to change a diaper! Yes, he just did this on his own. Joy did not even have to ask him! What a good daddy! It’s so funny to see how much more protective Trey is of his baby girl Ella vs. James with his little boy Blake. When we were taking this picture Blake reached out and grabbed Ella’s hand.

You should have seen Trey’s face. It almost looked as if he was numb while James was laughing and saying “at a boy”. I have a feeling that this will be never ending!
